The Royal is excited to announce that our course is finally open again after the KZN floods.

Royal Durban Golf Club Venue Hire

Royal Durban Golf Club is situated on the renown lush green golf course that is nestled inside Greyville Race Course. Royal Durban encompasses the rich tradition and heritage that it has gleaned from an elegant by-gone era. Whilst proud of its century old history, none of the modern conveniences have been forgone.

Centrally located with ample, safe parking, this unique venue can comfortably seat up to 160 guests.

Royal Durban Golf Club caters to a host of functions and events, from Corporate Golf Days, Birthday Celebrations, Wedding Receptions, Conferences, Year End Parties and Specialty Events.

We are able to offer a full service venue or you may wish to provide your own interior décor and DJ.

Royal Durban Golf Club wishes to make your function, no matter how casual or formal an event to remember with many great memories.

We have two superb versatile venues available for hire for your upcoming function. May it be a small intimate gathering or a lavish elegant affair, RDGC is the ideal venue for you. Royal Durban Golf Club has its own dedicated in house team who are happy to assist with all your function requirements.

OUR VENUES

Garvin Bernstein Room

Located upstairs in the main clubhouse, the View room, so nicknamed for its unparalleled vistas of the golf course and racetrack has sliding doors which open onto a cosy veranda. The View Room comfortably hosts 40-50 guests for a seated gathering or 50-60 for a cocktail style event.

Main Dining Lounge

Situated in the historic Royal Durban clubhouse. The venue is perfectly suited for corporate gatherings, yearend parties, conferences to birthday parties and memorable weddings.

The lounge opens up onto a enclosed veranda which is great for dealing with inclement weather however the floor to ceiling stacking windows open completely to offer stunning views of the putting green and course. Comfortably seating 130-140 guests with a central dance floor or 140-160 guests should you not require a dance floor.

The venue has been decorated in a neutral palette as to allow our guests the opportunity to have the venue reflect their personal taste.

OUR SERVICES

Bar Services

Provided by RDGC — every thing from your own personalized cocktail to a bucket of icy cold beers. A full bar is available and it may be run as a tab account, cash bar or a combination of the two. Should you require a specialty product we will happily order it in for you.

Catering

Bleu Berri Concept Catering – Durban, are on site and can provide substantial fun snacks, elegant executive gourmet cocktail bites, plated three—course meals, informal buffet options, casual corporate golf day dinners not forgetting decadent desserts, luxurious cheeses right down to the last chocolate truffle.
