The 2024 Sunday Tribune Great Outdoors Expo is coming up at the end of August and it is KZN’s BIGGEST Adventure show and not one to be missed!

The show is takes place at the Durban Exhibition Centre on the 31st of August and the 1st of September and is KZN’s premier outdoor and 4x4 Exhibition. The 2-day show brings together outdoor enthusiasts, adventurers, and families seeking to reconnect with nature.

This annual event has grown in popularity, highlighting the latest in outdoor equipment, travel destinations, and recreational activities. Whether you are an avid camper, a hiking enthusiast, or simply someone looking to enjoy the beauty of the great outdoors, the Expo offers something for everyone.

Visitors to the 2024 Sunday Tribune Great Outdoors Expo can expect a diverse array of exhibitors displaying the newest camping gear, Trailers, 4x4 accessories, hiking equipment, and adventure sports accessories. Major brands and local retailers will be on hand, offering exclusive deals and demonstrations of their latest products. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore innovative tents, durable backpacks, advanced GPS devices, and much more, all designed to enhance outdoor experiences.

The Show organisers are proud to announce the new Title and Media partners, the Sunday Tribune who have partnered with the Expo, giving the show added coverage and media exposure across KZN. “We are very excited to have the Sunday Tribune and associated newspapers onboard with our Expo for the 2024 show” said Damian Bradley from Delta Sport. “Their investment and partnership will further showcase the exhibition as KZN’s biggest Adventure Expo, and give exposure and reach to our partners and exhibitors.

One of the highlights of the Expo is the 4x4 track managed by on of SA’s most experiences 4x4 drivers, Travis Duggan. Here visitors can climb inside the latest 4x4’s on the market and test the course and their nerves. Vehicle dealers from around Durban will be displaying the latest and best new vehicles on the market, which you can experience, review, sit inside and dream of your next adventure.

There is an incredible kids play and activity area, which is free to enter, where kids will be supervised, while enjoying Jumping castles, giant slides, carnival games, crazy bikes, bungee trampolines, and lots more.

The highlight of the Expo will not only the incredible exhibitors and the heart pounding 4x4 track, but there will be two of SA’s top Freestyle Motorbike Stunt jumpers, which will be taking to the sky in an ariel display each day inside dedicated MX arena.

In addition to the equipment, activities and Motocross display the Expo features over 20 Food and beverage stands as well as an indoor and outdoor Bar and live music by Tyler De Dominico, Tatum Tides and Gavin Ferguson.

Attending the 2024 Sunday Tribune Great Outdoors Expo is a must for anyone passionate about nature and outdoor activities. THE GREAT OUTDOORS EXPO

The Great Outdoors Expo takes place at the legendary Durban Shongweni Club each year. The GOE is an impressive blend of innovative outdoor camping products combined with new and updated brands that keep our unique African outdoor lifestyle ahead of the pack.

The Great Outdoors Expo runs for 2 days in one of the most financially active and family friendly areas in South Africa. The remarkable Durban Shongweni Polo Club venue has staged many award-winning exhibitions and events and is ideally suited to stage this ironic South African expo. The Venue is safe and secure, with easy access to the N3 and M13 for the general public.

This year features the “Local is Lekker Craft Beer Festival” which incorperates the finest craft Brewries in KZN, who feature some of the best Craft Brews in South Africa. There will be Ice Cold Beer, Gin & Tonic as well as many other unique brews for everyones taste.

The Great Outdoors Expo covers various aspects of the outdoor lifestyle from Newly launched Bakkies, Vehicles, Unimog’s, Caravans, off road trailers, accessories and tents. It will also include the Sports lifestyle market, with running, mountain biking and fishing stands available to keep anyone and everyone enthralled. There will be extreme adrenalin pumping 4x4 demonstration in the ARENA X, as well as a short 1km 4x4 course to test your vehicle and keep the off roaders busy in the dirt. You can take your family for an Ariel view of the area with a Helicopter flip over the hillcrest area. There will be loads of Craft Food, craft stalls, a beer garden and the all-important Gin Bar ready to serve up the best we have to offer.
