Late Post: Report of Clermont Zazi Road mini Flea Market
Date: 09 March 2024

Durban New Generation (Pty) Ltd, in partnership with TCB and with the support of Clermont/Kwa-Dabeka CTO, successfully hosted the Clermont Zazi Road Mini Flea Market on 09 March 2025. The event was held at the Uhuru Shopping Complex and aimed to create a vibrant platform for community engagement, economic empowerment, and social interaction. The primary objective was to bring together residents of Clermont, Kwa-Dabeka, and surrounding areas to foster unity and collaboration. By providing a space for local vendors to showcase and sell a variety of products—including new and second-hand clothes, electronics, and food—the flea market sought to support small businesses and entrepreneurs, enabling them to grow their customer base and generate income. Additionally, the event promoted affordable shopping options, making quality goods accessible to all members of the community.

Another key objective of the Mini Flea Market was to strengthen partnerships with local organizations, such as Uhuru Shopping Complex, Inkazimulo Travel Solutions, and Zingeliphezulu Events. These collaborations highlighted the importance of collective efforts in driving community development and sustainability. The event also aimed to raise awareness about the initiatives and contributions of Clermont/Kwa-Dabeka CTO and other supporting organizations. Beyond economic benefits, the flea market provided a lively and enjoyable atmosphere for attendees to network, socialize, and enjoy food and beverages.
