The Good Groove Band has quickly become known for its vibrant sound, blending jazz, soul, and R&B influences. Ryan Lawler leads the group on keyboards, Dylan Ellis on bass, Shaun Peterson on drums, and versatile musicians Jamy-Lee Simons and Mark ‘Stewy’ Gokool. Don't miss this rare opportunity to see two amazing artists Carol Souki and Mark Royeppen in action at Soul Sunday Sessions at Beachwood Golf Course at 13:30.
Carol Souki is a Venezuela Lebanese singer-songwriter with a degree in Music Therapy from Berklee College of Music. Carol has performed in the USA, Venezuela, the Middle East, Japan, and currently South Africa. Coco has opened up and performed alongside Gloria Estefan, Phillip Bailey, Sal Houdini, Rosa Pasos, Wael Kfouri, Zane Dourani, Ramy Ayach, and other known Middle Eastern artists. She has released her first original album titled 'Ride' which embraces her passion for R&B, Latin, and Arabic styles in English, Spanish, and Arabic languages. You can find Carol Souki's music on all music platforms. She is currently living in Underberg providing music and music therapy to children and adults. Carol is joined on stage this Sunday 27 October by the very popular, talented Durban keyboardist Mark Royeppen.

The James Edward project collaborates with some of SA’s finest artists. James Edward has been in the music industry for more than twenty years. “Eyes of Sunglasses”, the first single off his Debut EP hit No.1 on the SA Top40 on MixFM last year. He has written and performed as James Robertson as a member of Spoonfeedas, a multi-charting SA group achieving a Number 1 on 5fm as well as other charting singles in the Top 10 and Top 20. He then went on to form Cubic Inch and again enjoyed radio popularity and opened for Bryan Adams on his tour to SA. He then formed Serrotone along with Peter Guthrie and Billy Kruger and they have performed alongside Freshly Ground, Prime Circle, and Wonderboom to name a few. Don't miss this dynamic start to Soul Sunday Sessions at Beachwood Golf Course at 13:30 this Sunday 20 October 2024. Suits of Armour is an acoustic duo featuring Melanie Nash and James Robertson. Melanie Nash is a talented singer-songwriter playing both guitar and keys, with a beautiful melodic silky smooth voice. She released her debut solo album in 2011. Melanie is a guitar teacher and vocal coach and owns a music school in Hillcrest. James has written and performed in the South African music industry achieving his first Number 1 on 5fm in 2001 as well as other charting singles in the Top 10 and Top 20. He opened for Bryan Adams on his tour to SA as front man for Cubic Inch in 2006 and more recently released his first solo single, “Eyes of Sunglasses”, as James Edward which reached No.1 on the SA Top40 on MixFM. Melanie and James’ combined songwriting has unearthed some incredible co-written music and their vocal harmonies along with their passion for the acoustic guitar is something quite unique. Always in great demand, Durban’s Tanner Wareham is a singer-songwriter and loop artist, known for using his acoustic guitar, keyboard, voice, and loop station to create songs live that sound like studio renditions of a full band. He first started gaining popularity for the unique way he performed covers, and eventually, his own songs, some of which have charted and topped local radio.
