..and that’s a WRAP! 💥 the 2024 Riverside Hockey Awards Dinner was all about celebrating our amazing club and what a time it was 🥳

Congratulations to all the Riverside members who received awards — over a long, intense year of hockey they are fully deserved! 👏

Riverside Mixed Social7’s kicked off last week with a BANG! 💥

So much fun and was had! In the Adult League on Thursday evening, team “Win or Booze” won the best dressed prize for the night. 🥳

DOUBLE VICTORY FOR DGC AT WORLD HOCKEY MASTERS!

Durban Girls' College is proud to celebrate both the SA O35 Men's and Women's Teams, who have qualified for the finals of the World Masters Hockey World Cup! A special shoutout to our Primary School Sports Co-Ordinator, Jonty Robinson, Captain of the Men's Team and Coach of the Women’s Team. Coach Jonty is a great inspiration to our pupils, bringing incredible energy and passion to sport in the Primary school where his experience, leadership and enthusiasm continue to drive our young athletes.

Added to this is accomplished alumna, Kate Woods (Hector, Class of 1999) whose leadership as Captain of the Women's Team is driving them toward victory!

Let’s cheer them on as they go for gold in the finals on Monday when the Men's Team faces England, and the Women's Team takes on the Netherlands.

TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT! 📣🇿🇦 congratulations to our very own Malikah Hamza on being selected for the SPAR South African Indoor Women’s Hockey team that will represent the country at the FIH Indoor Hockey World Cup in Croatia next year. 🇭🇷

Special mention to Kenton Melville on being chosen for the South African U21 Mens team who will represent his country at the Junior Africa Cup in Namibia at the end of November. Kenton was a member of our RHC Mini Hockey and now applies his trade at Maties. 🔥
