Appreciative guests were spared an exorbitant travel to India to witness a proper Telegu wedding; when the radiant Bridal Couple created a similar traditional ceremony in the courtyard of the landmark SVTS Hall, curated by The Eastern Touch.
It was an epic and historic one for the record books; as the couple were not permitted to view each other until the sacred Thaali part.
Their coutured outfits resonated with Godly demeanor as the shirtless, tattooed and hunky Groom Saiendren Chetty looked like he stepped out of the Bahubali movie, wearing a princely crown and dhoti. His radiant bride Shanice Govender wore a Goddess outfit with queenly crown and exquisite jewellery reflecting Mother Sita.
Against the Lotus backdrop and at the feet of Lord Hanuman, the couple under the auspices of Guru Raul Mooninthan, performed unique parts reminiscent of a village-like ceremony before adjourning to the opulent reception hall for formalities and dinner.
Captivating decor, sumptuous cuisine, amazing music, surreal photography, charismatic compering and stellar sequences lit this befitting function. It was all capped off with a dance by the couple that infused Bharata Natyam, Kathak and folk to modern, to induce guests to wild applause.
