Its sister company HOSPICO assists hotels and resorts throughout Africa in restructuring their business', assisting with all facets of hospitality sales, marketing, operational management, training, management development, renovations, innovations and food and beverage turnarounds.

Swahili Beach made Kenya proud last night in Belfast Ireland winning four Luxury World Travel Awards. Salima Bertoglio, General Manager was on hand to accept on behalf of the whole team behind the resort, Swahili Beach won: Kenya's Best Luxury Beachfront Resort, Kenya's Best Luxury Wedding Resort, East Africa's Best Luxury Ocean View Resort and Kenya's best Resort Spa.

Our Story

The Durban Event Company was established to manage, attract and create new events in and around Durban. With the success of the Greyville Exhibition and events Company it became apparent that a separate company should be sourcing and creating events at the Greyville Race Course as well utilising other spaces within the city when the Greyville Convention Centre could not offer these facilities to clients. The company has successfully completed several concerts, car launches and world record attempts and is headed by hospitality and event executives who will bring a whole new angle to your event, be they large or small.
