My All bran rusks have become very popular. Made with flour, butter, buttermilk, sugar, eggs, all bran, oats and toasted almonds. The perfect accompaniment to a good cup of coffee on a cold wintery morning.

Made Hot cross buns on Good Friday. Rather rustic!!! I got a bit impatient at the end so my crosses ran a bit wild.🙈 Otherwise not too bad. Next time I will add extra spice though.

Made this Chocolate tart last week end. It is based on Nigella's recipe. I made it a Gluten and lactose free tart, replacing the base with gluten and lactose free chocolate biscuits, and using coconut cream in the filling. Was rather nice! 😍

Millionaires chocolate cake. A trial run. I will do a 3 layer cake for R300. It has a light brandy syrup sprinkled over and covered with a cream, milk chocolate and brandy topping.

A while ago Paige and I made fudge together. Kane also helped with the stirring. It turned out very yummy, melt in the mouth.
