⭐️ Harlequins Gala ⭐️

The Aquanova stars had a blast at the Harlequins gala this weekend.

A first gala for some of our stars, pb's and loads of medals for others.

A special mention to our girls 13&over relay team who received a silver medal in the 200m freestyle relay and a bronze in the 200m medley.

Aquanova are once again proud of Holly and Leah for being included in the Youth Team to represent South Africa at the Argentinian Open in November 2022.

Our club coach, Wendy Buitendag, has also been selected as Team Manager for the competition.

⭐️ Polar Bear Week ⭐️

During our recent Polar Bear Week our coaches helped swimmers with stroke correction, turns, starts and diving, while creating some great fitness habits.

In between all the swimming there were some fun activities too.

One of which was a Mannequin Challenge.

We would like to challenge our fellow local clubs to post a 15 second video of their mannequins.

⭐️ South African Team Announcement ⭐️

Aquanova Club are extremely proud of our 2 Artistic Swimmers on their selection into the team representing South Africa at the FINA World Youth Artistic Swimming Championships to be held in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA in August 2022.

Their coach, Wendy Buitendag, had been selected as the team manager.

Congratulations to all 3 of you, your hard work and dedication had been well worth it.
