The other day, we had a menu creation day for our Cape Town catering company. For our platter menu, we tried out some new dishes while keeping our Argentinian theme. We made the following:

- Picanha steak marinated in paprika, cumin, and lemon, served with chimichurri sauce
- Corn ribs with coriander, lime, and black garlic
- Slaw with a yogurt dressing

Last week, we catered an event for our corporate client in Noordhoek, providing an array of delicious platters. Our offerings included:

- Lamb and tzatziki sliders with pickled red onion
- Wild mushroom arancini with roasted garlic aioli
- Satay chicken skewers with satay sauce
- Bobotie spring rolls with papaya chutney
- Spanakopitas

For dessert, we served lemon meringue tarts, chocolate truffles, and milk tarts.

🔥 On Saturday, May 4th, we hosted our debut wedding event, igniting the flavour in Franschhoek with an unforgettable gathering at the picturesque Johannesdal 1204.

🌿 Our menu showcased a trio of tantalising canapés to kick off the wedding festivities: starting with Smoked Trout Potato Latkes with Dill Crème Fraiche, followed by Charcoal Bao buns brimming with our 6-hour BBQ braised pork, complemented by an apple and fennel slaw. Rounding off the trio was Wild Mushroom Arancini served with Truffle Aioli.

For the main course, we delighted guests with our Pulled Lamb Shoulder accompanied by Creamed Potato, Carrots, Peas, and Mint Jus. For our vegetarian guests, we crafted a delectable Woodlands Mushroom & Goats Cheese Orzotto, adorned with Parmesan Crisps.

We’re currently busy preparing for our company’s first wedding after six years of hard work to reach this milestone. In the attached pictures, you’ll see us preparing our signature braised lamb dish. It’s slow-cooked for six hours in the oven, then delicately pulled and enhanced with carrots, celery, shallots, mint, and lamb jus.

We had the pleasure of catering for a multinational family gathering on December 22nd in beautiful Klein Slangkop Private Estate in Kommetjie . This diverse family, originating from the USA and residing across Kenya, the UK, and the USA, came together for a Christmas reunion.

Our menu featured a Traditional Braai, including:
- Peri Peri Chicken and Red Pepper Skewers
- 3 Hour Braised BBQ Pork Ribs with Treacle BBQ Sauce
- West Coast Whole Snoek with Apricot and Garlic Butter Glaze
- Mediterranean Roasted Vegetables with Sundried Tomato Pesto & Toasted Seeds
- Hasselback Potatoes with Roasted Garlic Butter and Garden Herbs
- Cherry Tomato, Bocconcini, Rocket, and Balsamic Glaze Salad

For dessert, we served:
- Peppermint Crisp Tart
- Cape Brandy Tart

The feedback from the client was: Looking for a good Chef? Look no further. Chef Rob is your man! We traveled from the US to CT for a family Christmas and Chef Rob helped us with figuring out the best menu for our family of 8. The Braai and sides he prepared were excellent.
