Fish Hoek Friends of Music Concert on Friday 18 October 2024 in the Fish Hoek Civic Centre at 19h00.

The Fish Hoek Friends of Music is proud to present The Viviamo per L’Arte with an exciting new programme - Beautiful Music from the Enchanted Realm. The concert will include: The Moldau, The Nutcracker, Vivaldi Double Concerto and Prokofiev’s Cinderell. Ticket may be purchased at the Wool Crate in Valyland and by emailing [email protected] . Tickets are R120 for adults and R20 for children over the age of 8 years. The concert will be held at the Fish Hoek Civic Centre on Friday 18 October at 19h00.

Our next concert is on Friday 10 May 2024 at 19h00 in the Fish Hoek Civic Centre. We are pleased to present pianist Albert Combrink in ‘Travels with my piano’. Albert is a very passionate performer, educator, writer, and presenter. He has performed in a wide range of genres both locally and abroad and has built a reputation for himself as one of the country’s busiest and most versatile pianists. His programme is interspersed with stories about the music he is playing, drawing on the vast range of repertoire from his career as classical soloist, tango player and dancer, opera repetiteur, and musical theatre.

He will play popular music by Classical Composers from Chopin to Debussy, as well as Tangos by Piazzolla and others. As always, he will bring his interest in the cultural and historical background to his programme.

Tickets may be purchased from the Wool Crate at Valyland (near Spar entrance) and at the door, if available. Cash only. No card payment facilities at Wool Crate or at the concert.

Tickets may also be reserved by emailing [email protected]. Please collect them at the door at least 15 mins prior to the performance. Please note that the price of is R120.00 and R20.00 for children over 8 years of age. All tickets are unreserved.
