A wonderful initiative at DC Coffee Co for Mother's Day 💛

With Mother's Day approaching, we're mindful that this time may be extremely painful for many of you. With this in mind, we are doing our small bit to extend some love and hope, to show you that we care and that you are not alone.

Following on from the last two years, we've placed our EMPTY CHAIR outside our store, and it will be here until Mother's Day.

This chair is to honour the beautiful moms no longer with us, moms separated from their kids, or moms who have lost their children. These individuals may be Gone or Apart but never forgotten ❤

If you find yourself in a situation where the above resonates with you, we invite you to visit DC and share a note about that remarkable person on a tag attached to this chair. This act, though small, is a powerful way of honouring and celebrating these extraordinary human beings. We want you to know that our hearts are with you, and if you need a shoulder to lean on or a glimmer of hope, we're here for you.

In addition to the note, we'd like to offer you a voucher for any tall drink on us. This is a small token of our love and support, a moment for you to pause, reflect, and take a step forward. We understand that it won't heal the pain, but we hope it provides a brief respite in your journey.
