EEVEE BACKPACK ver2.

This is a repeat of the Eevee backpack I did nearly 2 years ago, except in a more manageable size this time around.

I'm still getting the hang of wig styling, this was totally outside my usual skillet but I had a lot of fun! (and a lot of trial and error).

I pulled out my old pixel quilted Mario and Luigi cushions for 's market this past weekend. Should I make some more 8-bit pixel quilt designs to sell as cushion covers?

On my list so far are Toad, Space Invaders, and Stardew Valley chickens. What designs would you like to see??

Quilted gambeson for a medieval knight. Diamond pattern was individual cut and sewn like a quilt, and small beads were handsewn into the points for detailing. The colours were chosen based on the customer's gaming persona and branding. Faux leather vinyl straps and silver buckles secure it across the chest.

It looks a little wonky here, as the body it was made for was not the same size or shape as the mannequin.

Some recent leatherwork I've done. This was part of a belt and harness gear setup for a medieval knight. The shoulder strap was left unpunched so that the customer could punch their own hole at precisely the right measurement.

I think I'm slowly getting the hang of this leatherwork thing? Still lots of room for improvement, but I'm proud of what I've made so far...

Christmas overalls write-up...

Customer wanted a cute and comfy Christmas outfit for a school event. The brief included that it be a very relaxed fit. She picked out the fabric from Chamdor's Christmas collection.

I used the Oliver Jumpsuit pattern from Mood Designer Fabrics , but I did have to edit and adjust excessively. The main details that I changed were a straight, full length pants leg, additional side pockets, fabric belt and belt loops, and reducing bulk in the sides.

My favourite features of this garment are the wooden buttons, but I'm also pleased with the extra deep pockets and adjustability afforded by the belt and the straps. The silhouette changed quite dramatically when adjusting strap length and tightening the belt!

What a nice and fun project to usher in the festive season!
