We are delighted to announce that Bon Courage will be joining us at the Shiraz, Charcuterie & Cheese Festival at Anthonij Rupert Wyne on Saturday 25 May from 11am. They will be pouring two of their fabulous wines:
• Pepper Tree Shiraz 2022 – a full-bodied red wine that contains bold, fruit forward New World characteristics. Typical white pepper is present, complimented with slight vanilla aromas coming from the Barrels. Ideal with rich stews, spicy game casseroles and roast pork with apple sauce, this wine is perfect for the coming winter months so you might want to stock up on a bottle or six!
• Inkará Shiraz 2021 -another full-bodied red wine from master winemakers Jacques Bruwer & Philip Viljoen. This Shiraz has a complex amalgam of red berried fruit with soft tones of chocolate and espresso. Round and full mouth-feel showing mulberry, sweet spice and pepper with a silky texture and velvet character. Superb with robust dishes such as slow-cooked casseroles, potjiekos with lamb neck and all types of venison.

We're delighted to welcome Tokara to the Shiraz, Charcuterie & Cheese Festival, happening at Anthonij Rupert Wyne in Franschhoek on Saturday 25 May. At the event, the Tokara team will be showcasing two of their stunning wines ...
* Tokara Shiraz 2021 - dark cherry in colour with a brilliant edge. The nose opens with layers of high tone red fruit, followed by purple and darker fruit on a spicy backdrop. The palate is a melange of wild berries, baking spice and light oak toast with alluring freshness and drinkability. The mid-palate is juicy yet the finish is dry with beautiful plush tannins that finish long.
* Tokara Reserve Collection Syrah 2021 - a wine with a deep almost black core with a purple rim. The nose leads with notes of whole purple fig, cigar box, salted liquorice and violet perfume. The palate is classy and refined with rich dark fruit and a silky mid-palate. The wine leaves one with an appealing chalky finish and subtle hint of red pepper kernel.

• Thunderstone Red 2019 - a fruity and mellow blend of 40% cinsault, 30% shiraz and 30% cabernet sauvignon with cassis, dark cherries, wild berries and mixed spices on the nose
• Arenite Syrah 2019 - a medium-bodied wine with fine tannins and a round and velvety texture with plenty of cherries, redcurrants and white pepper character.
• Acheulean Red 2018 - a supple and textural red with notes of dark cherries, plums, dried herbs and baking spices.
