THE GEORGE JULY 2023

I had the incredible opportunity to organize the annual fundraiser for The Seven Passes Initiative, The George July. ✨

The day was filled with exquisite wines from renowned vineyards, crafted gin and beer from top distilleries, thrilling horse races, captivating entertainment, and above all, a vibrant atmosphere shared with wonderful individuals.

A special thank you goes to for entrusting me with this remarkable event.

*The George July* is back and it’s bigger and better than ever!
The George July is a fundraising event for The Seven Passes Initiative that is a non-profit organization that works in the rural area of Hoekwil and Touwsranten.
Their vision is for a safe society in which all people, children, and adults, can realize their full potential and overcome poverty and inequality.

*What is the George July and how does it work?*

The George July is a horse racing event with a twist. The horse racing will be with a hobby horse and not an actual horse. So, enter your best “jockey” for the day as there are BIG prices up for grabs!

*The details are as follow:*

• Ticket price: R350.00
This includes:
o An opportunity to support rural children.
o A Full day at the George July where you will be able to enjoy and watch all the races.
o Wine tasting from different wine farms.
o A complimentary wine glass.
o Canapes and snacks from leading caterers in George.
o Watching a live horse show.

• “Horse” Entries: R1 500.00
o This is for all the businesses out there! This is your time to shine and show off who the best “jockey” in town is.

Any donation, big or small is welcome. All proceeds will go towards the Seven Passes Initiative to help them continue with their amazing work.

Eben is a little warrior from George, fighting against leukemia in Cape Town. We organized this golf day to support him. All proceeds goes to Eben to help and support him through his journey and his road to recovery.
