Duende Drama

Dit as stil op die Duende blad, baie still. Covid se onverwagse aankoms op die verhoog, het my gedwing om tyd aan my gesin te spandeer.
Maar selfs voor Covid was ek regtig oor sosiale media as bemarking metode. Daar is soveel druk om genoeg te post en daar is skedules wat mens kan volg of jy kan iemand aanstel om dit te doen...ek kan nie cope met dit alles nie.

En toe kom Covid...en daar was rede om te rus. My grootste les die afgelope twee jaar: Die mens kan planne maak, maar dis God wat die huis bou. Duende is in sy Hande.

Tog was die sabbatstyd nie versmaai nie:
Ek het Covid oorleef...letterlik!
Ek het my gesin daar deur gehelp.
Ek het ander drome gaan afstop en studeer tans my Meestergraad in Televisie en Film Teksontwikkeling (LOVING IT!)
Ek het weer begin ballet.
En nou...bitter stadig sal Duende Drama weer klas aanbied!

Uit al die kamers van my hart sê ek dankie aan elkeen wat 'n kaartjie gekoop het. Ons produksie het 'n hupstootjie vir die teater beteken na die verwoestende effek van Covid.

Vir my persoonlik was die hele proses van die begin tot einde 'n groei en heel word proses.
Ek "Repelsteeltjie" al van November af toe ek ingestem het om 'n stuk vir die teater te doen. Dit was 6maande van harde werk wat ek moes inpas tussen my gesin, maar God was die heel tyd in beheer.

Daarom dra ek my trots soos 'n kroon...nie uit
'n plek van hoogmoed nie, maar uit 'n plek van diep dankbaarheid en nederigheid teenoor die Een wat altyd in beheer is.

So Georgiete, as julle aanhou ondersteun sal ek aanhou skep!

Oudisie week!

Dankie vir al die video oudisies!

Hierdie week se oudisies:

🎭K om vandag 18 Januarie OF more 19 Januarie OF Woensdag 20 Januarie

🎭Plek Oakhurst Insurance George Arts Theatre

🎭18:00 - 20:00 (laaste persoon moet 19:45 begin)

🎭Voer enige Afrikaanse Gedig of Prosa op

🎭Bring of whatsapp of e-pos CV & kop-en skouer foto. (CV moet naam, van, kontakbesonderhede, huidige skool/beroep, ENIGE uitvoerende kunste ondervinding, enige produksies, stokperdjies)

🎭Prosedure: arriveer by teater met masker
COVID toetsing
Lees repetisie en opvoer inligting
Vul bywonings vorm in...dis ook volgorde waarin julle oudisie doen.
Wag in voyer.
Individuele oudisies.
Jy sal inkom, jou CV gee, opvoer en paar vragies sal dalk deur regisseur gevra word.

OUDISIES!

Die oudisies gaan op TWEE wyses plaasvind. Jy kies wat vir jou gaan werk...MAAR indien jy die whatsapp video doen, sal jy vir 'n oudisie na die teater gevra word. Dis maar net om te toets hoe jy van video na teater kan wissel.

WHATSAPP OUDISIES:

Stuur 'n 3min video (kan korter wees)
Stel jouself bekend (naam, van, ouderdom)
Voer enige Afrikaanse gedig of prosa op.
Moet teen 11 & 12 Januarie 2021 gestuur word.

OUDISIES BY OAKHURST INSURANCE GEORGE ARTS THEATRE:

Hierdie oudisies vind oor 3 dae plaas.
Jy hoef net een keer te kom oudisie af te lê, maar neem in ag dat jy moontlik op 20 Januarie vir 'n call back gevra mag word. (Dis wanneer daar sterk kandidate is en jy vir 'n spesifieke rol sal lees dan.)

18, 19, 20 Januarie 2021
18:00 - 20:00
Voer enige Afrikaanse gedig of prosa op (maks. 5min)
Kandidate sal in voyer van teater wag en ingeroep word.
Indien moontlik...stel ek voor jy bevestig by my watter dag jy sal kom. Ter will van COVID wil ek nie almal op een aand sien nie.
Alle COVID Regulasies geld (masker, sanitêre, temperatuur meet en sosiale afstand).
Masker word slegs afgehaal vir die oudisie self.

Om saam te vat rakende oudisies:
1)Maak video of kom persoonlik op datums soos hierbo genoem.
2)Berei 'n Afrikaanse gedig of prosa voor om op te voer.
3)ALLE KANIDATE: e-pos of bring saam na oudisie 'n kreatiewe CV en kleurfoto van kop en skouers...sien voorbeeld aangeheg.
4)ONTHOU dat whatsapp en teater kandidate moontlik vir call back op 20 Januarie 18:00 - 20:00 kan inkom.

Duende Drama Studio's mid term break abruptly started on Monday 16 March after the President's speech. This decision was not made lightly and my teacher heart is missing class and creative vibes dearly.

I am researching all possibilities to have class and will contact all enrolled students this coming week. To all prospective enrollments awaiting a reply...information will be send your way soon.

It is the small businesses that feel this knock the most, but those of you who know me can still expect positive energy and ideas.

In the mean time... Let's make this free time count! Students I encourage you to READ and if there are no books, download an app with free age a propriet books or (with parental assistance) search the web for Monologues/Dialogues!

Stay positive & enjoy the easier pace of life.
