Backstage Lounge Cafรฉ is open before each show and during intervals.The theatre is available for hire including our brand new Amphitheatre outside for your enjoyment. A number of full length productions are held throughout the year and every December the Societyโ€™s pantomime is one of the townโ€™s most popular holiday attraction

The Helen O'Grady Drama Academy Garden Route students would love to entertain you on the 23rd of November at the Dotsure George Arts Theatre.
During Terms 1, 2 and 3, the students are involved in a unique drama programme, the aim of which is to promote confidence, self esteem and skill in verbal communication. Each class will present a short play which is the result of the Term 4 curriculum.

This year they have 10 classes performing, divided into 3 timeslots (10h; 12h; 14h) as per Show schedule.
The Academyโ€™s programme focuses, in a creative way, on what children CAN do rather than what they CANโ€™T do.

Our new improved Costume Wardrobe is open every day now, Monday to Friday from 12 - 3 pm. Backstage Lounge Cafรฉ is open before each show and during intervals. The theatre is available for hire including our brand new Amphitheatre outside for your enjoyment. A number of full length productions are held throughout the year and every December the Societyโ€™s pantomime is one of the townโ€™s most popular holiday attractions. The Arts Theatre is also a popular venue for many productions given by both national and international artists.
