Childhood obesity is on the rise in South Africa and it is estimated that 1 in 5 South African children is either overweight or obese. And this is predominantly due to poor / incorrect diet and is compounded by the lack of exercise. Children spend the majority of their time at school. Does your school serve healthy food or just food that is the cheapest and most convenient? Who is responsible for

ensuring that the foods that are served are healthy? At Morgan Meals, we believe that this duty should be shared - with educators monitoring what is provided within the school environment; and with parents focusing on healthy eating habits at home. We provide a number of services for parents and schools, to ensure that the majority of food eaten by our youth is nutritional yet yummy. From pre-packed lunch boxes for parents to healthy meals for schools. We also offer a healthy eating food-prep extra mural activity/workshop for schools - where children can have fun with food preparation while learning what is means to eat and live healthy.
