Dave Fuller - Your host for the evening who in addition will open the programme with some classical and fingerstyle guitar. Dave runs the guitar programme at DSG/SAC.

Alec Jirachareonkul - We gladly welcome Alec back to the AC stage after his appearance earlier this year. Get ready for acoustic guitar in overdrive mode: "I will be playing original instrumental pieces that vary from cerebral to adventurous, interspersed with folk and West African kora music as arranged by Derek Gripper for the guitar."

The Oldenbergias - We welcome a group of students from RU who in their own words "will be doing 4 acoustic songs in total. There will be 3 of us performing (John, Julian, and I - Ethan). Each of the songs are different but very special to us. Our group name comes from the fact that we all became friends doing Botany and going on hikes to look at the species".

Winternag - Winternag is back, with a new line-up and a new set. Athina will be singing five Greek songs, accompanied by Anton on bass, Christian on guitar and occasional harp, Hennie on baglama and Peter on drums. Luna rounds off the set with Hennie's setting of the great Eugene Marais' poem, Winternag.

Second last show of the year!

Our first act features Theresa and Charles. Theresa Dwyer is passionate about music and education (and especially music education). She holds a BMus in piano performance from UCT and level 2 of the Australian Kodaly Certificate. She runs the Creative City Music Academy in Grahamstown and is committed to creating a high level of local music performance and education. Charles Antrobus discovered his love of singing at a young age and has sung in numerous choirs throughout his life, including RUCC and Pro Carmine. He is currently a member of the Cathedral Consort and Saeculum Aureum and enjoys singing solo when the opportunity presents itself. Theresa and Charles will present a programme of piano solos and sacred sung items

The Band is a group of talented friends, hailing from various corners of the country. United by their shared passion for music, Sambe Mavela, Musa Makgato, Bulelani and Siyabulela Mfuku bring a rich tapestry of influences and experiences to their performances. Individually, they have graced stages at numerous prestigious functions around Grahamstown and have captivated audiences worldwide. Now, as a collective, they blend their unique styles into a harmonious fusion of jazz that promises to enchant and inspire.

The Rhodes University Jazz Band, under the leadership of Rick van Heerden, has come to understand their individual capabilities as well as their understanding of their sound as a band. Recently, the band has performed in multiple performances such as the National Physics Conference with excited and positive reactions. The Rhodes University Jazz Band presents their version of famous jazz songs that highlight the individuals' talents and musical understanding.

It sounds like a great evening. See you there!
