OppiePlaas Haga Haga Pub & Restaurant
Erna Taljaard established OppiePlaas Haga Haga Country Venue during 2011 in a dilapidated storeroom on Mtwentwe Farm, just outside Haga Haga. The idea was to serve excellent food at reasonable prices in an intimate farm pub and restaurant atmosphere to locals and visitors alike. The business grew rapidly and numerous special events, such as the Haga Fest, various musical concerts, cycling and running events, theme evenings, wine tastings and many others, were hosted at the venue. The restaurant is open during the Easter & Xmas school holidays and during the year by prior booking. A large entertainment area was added which has since become a very popular function|wedding venue.

Apart from the Pub & Restaurant OppiePlaas Haga caters for weddings and special functions. We specialise in weddings, corporate functions and special events on our distinctive farm with its stunning location near Haga Haga on the Eastern Cape Wild Coast in South Africa.We’re big enough to accommodate up to 150 guests. At the same time we’re abundantly homely to ensure affinity and intimacy in what we offer. We make it our concern to understand the needs, requirements and even the whims and impulses (should these exist!) of our patrons … and we offer it in a setting unrivalled for its natural beauty.
OppiePlaas Haga Haga Country Cottage, B&B & Tented Accommodation
Our self-catering standalone garden cottage that overlooks a duck pond, offers a double bed in the main living area, a bunk bed for two in a separate smaller bedroom, a well-equipped kitchen and a bathroom. Relax on the living|dining room with a sun-downer while watching the sunset over the adjacent duckpond. Socialise afterwards while preparing the braai in the well-equipped private braai area.
We also have 2 luxury en-suit double rooms , tented accommodation and campsites that overlooks a game farm with sea views on a B&B basis. You can also pitch your own tent or park your caravan.
Guests are welcome by prior arrangement to relax in our pub or to enjoy a delectable meal in our country restaurant.V
