Stonehaven Begins
Golden Dawn Farm has not always been Stonehaven. We started out with a tiny two bedroom house with our 3 children and have turned it into something beautiful to share with others. Our goal is to make guests feel like they have a home away from home; and brides to feel relaxed in the countryside on the happiest day of their lives.
We have a couple of tame chickens roaming around, migrating Egyptian geese ,a trampoline for little ones and a dipping pool – so keep an eye on the kiddies! A neighbour who runs his cattle through our farm which only adds to the farm style ambiance of our beautiful wedding venue. We have started growing our very own fruit trees and have made sure that there is ample space around the farm for brides and their photographers to capture breath-taking moments of their big day!
The farm has two dams, a weir and my personal favourite, the ridge where the best African Sunsets are captured. Bridal couples will have access to the farm to snap pics wherever their heart desires! Stonehaven is also only 8kms from the beautiful beaches of Chefane and Cintsa, which make stunning beach shots only a “stones” throw away.
We would love to accommodate you and will always be available for any questions you may have, please don’t hesitate to ask. We will make your stay and experience here one to remember, be it a wedding, holiday or Shower. So, kick back, relax and let us do all the dirty work!
