KEKANA DISMISSES SOCIAL MEDIA ALLEGATIONS ON COMMUTER BUS OPERATOR
[Mahikeng]- The Department of Community Safety and Transport Management in the North West has dismissed what it calls a misleading information that's ongoing on social media about its role on social media regarding the Atamelang bus service.
The department says it has noted with disappointment the misleading information on social media and it wants to reassure communities of Mahikeng and Ngaka Modiri Molema District at large that there is no truth to what is said about the department.
The department further said, when MEC Wessels Morweng took over in July, he made it his mission to meet with all commuter bus operators in the province as part of his meet and greet with department’s stakeholders but also to understand their roles and responsibilities towards the communities of North West.
Head ofthe Department, Dr Hans Kekana has refuted the social media rumors. This Follows the current ongoing allegations on the department.
“What is being said about the department on social media has no foundation and must be dismissed as misleading and tantamount to dragging the department’s name in the mud," said Kekana
