Cheesecake.

A luscious, rich and sweet dessert 😍 definitely one of my favorites. Classic, but yummy! You can even spice it up by topping it with some delicious toppings, like: passionfruit curd, lemon curd(with gin😉) or chocolate ganache. Sounds good? You can order it too so you don't have to make it, but still enjoy it! 😉

This is a baked cheesecake, but the no bake cheesecake is just as delicious!

Want to make cooking a little bit easier/tastier?

5 Cooking tips & hacks:

1) Season with every new step. Just a pinch of seasoning everytime you add something new.
2) Start baked potatoes in the microwave first and then in the oven. Just poke some holes in the potatoes and microwave, then 15 minutes in the oven.
3) Mise en Place: basically saying just prep everything before hand and then start cooking, instead of prepping while cooking.
4) Mix butter and soya sauce, to boost the flavor of a savory dish. Equal butter to soya sauce.
5) Sugar getting hard and sticking together? just throw a marshmallow into the sugar jar.

Remember, recipes are just guidelines. Do what tastes good to you.

Just a little introduction for Mint & Basil.
We do:
Desserts: order a dessert (cakes, cupcakes, tarts)
Catering: need someone to cater a meal or do some platters, here we are.
Recipes: sharing some of my favorite recipes for you to make and try at home.

Of course I am going to throw in some tips, facts and tricks to make things a little interesting and easier.

A meal eaten in the morning, the first of the day.
Why is this so important? Looking at the word 'breakfast' it also means 'breaking the fast', which means: you are breaking the 'fast' from not eating through the night (even if you had a midnight snack 😉). Take the extra 15 minutes in the morning and eat a filling and nutritious breakfast. Yes, it can be that quick and still delicious.
