“We had our wedding at The Knoll in the month of December with 65 guests in total and 32 guests who stayed on the farm for two nights with us which made it extra special because we had more time to spend with our family and friends we had not seen for a while.

The Knoll really is the perfect blend of rustic charm and elegance. The picturesque landscape of the midlands offered us breathtaking views that made for stunning photographs and an unforgettable backdrop for the ceremony.

We chose to have the ceremony on the “koppie” for the forest feel and the views but there are many other equally stunning locations on the farm suitable for the ceremony.

I want to highlight that the team around Chris and Amy went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Having an in-house wedding planner helped us a lot as Amy has an extensive network of service providers in the area (hair & makeup, photos, catering, DJ etc.). With her management skills, Amy also helped us in being completely care-free and to just enjoy every moment of our special day.

We used Andrew from La Popote, the café on site, for our canapes and the wedding cake. He executed everything exactly how we wanted it and we can really recommend him.

If you’re looking for a venue that offers a beautiful and serene environment with top-notch service, The Knoll is the place to be. The team at the Knoll genuinely cared about making our wedding extra special and we are forever grateful for that.
