Although a large portion of the flowers are obtained from the Market, flowers and foliage are also sourced directly from as many local flower growers in the area as possible. This is a win-win situation as it supports the smaller producers in t

he vicinity as well as enabling the Florist to offer an interesting and well stocked cold room. The stock changes daily and the cold room is often filled with unusual surprises and alternate flower choices. You are welcome, and in fact encouraged, to contact the Florist directly to find out what is recommended and in stock at any given moment.

Yes! Alongside creating gorgeous bouquets at Flowers From Howick , Helena has written five historical romance novels - and is currently working on her sixth!

A devoted Jane Austen fan, Helena’s writing has a wonderfully Regency-inspired charm - romantic, witty and delightfully escapist, with historical settings, intriguing characters, misunderstandings and just the right amount of drama.

And her new book promises to be particularly close to home: Lady on the Battlefield, set during the Anglo-Boer War.

Perhaps it’s no surprise that someone who spends her days surrounded by flowers also has such a vivid imagination for creating stories.

Sheran, who many of you know from the odd days she steps in and helps us at Flowers From Howick, popped in to introduce us to her adorable new little Yorkie puppy.
This tiny handbag companion may be small enough to fit in a bag, but she certainly made a big impression and stole a few hearts!
