Our principal florist & iwner, Helena, created this gorgeous mass arrangement for a local school’s Speech Day....

A glorious profusion of strelitzias & anthuriums, with a corridor of lime orchids running through the middle.
Bold, bright and beautifully dramatic.

Our lilies are looking particularly gorgeous at the moment.

We've got a lovely selection of colours in the florist - from soft pinks and creamy whites in this bouquet, to sunny yellows, vibrant oranges & purples.

Perfect for a simple bunch of lilies on their own, or mixed into something a little more wild & wonderful.

A little bit of old-fashioned loveliness…
Just look at these gorgeous stocks!

Soft white, pretty pink and rich purple - with their ruffled petals, tall stems and masses of tiny buds waiting to open. And the best bit? They smell as beautiful as they look, with that gorgeous, slightly spicy, sweet scent that fills a room.

Stocks are one of those flowers that bring a lovely vintage charm to our arrangements - romantic without being fussy, and wonderfully long-lasting too.

Available to purchase in bunches too.

Did you know our principal florist and owner, Helena, is also a published author?

Yes! Alongside creating gorgeous bouquets at Flowers From Howick , Helena has written five historical romance novels - and is currently working on her sixth!

A devoted Jane Austen fan, Helena’s writing has a wonderfully Regency-inspired charm - romantic, witty and delightfully escapist, with historical settings, intriguing characters, misunderstandings and just the right amount of drama.

And her new book promises to be particularly close to home: Lady on the Battlefield, set during the Anglo-Boer War.

Perhaps it’s no surprise that someone who spends her days surrounded by flowers also has such a vivid imagination for creating stories.

Helena’s books are available to purchase at our florist in Howick, and online through our website under " Add ons" - www.flowersfromhowick.com

So next time you pop in for flowers, take a peek at Helena’s books too - you might just find your next lovely escape between the pages.
