The secret to a perfect wedding lies in the details. Holding your bouquet correctly can give off an elegant and comfortable look, which is exactly what your wedding photos need. Although it might sound simple enough, many brides get it wrong.

The first and most common way to hold your bouquet is in front of you. Position your hands slightly below your navel, with elbows gently bent. This keeps your posture relaxed, avoids a stiff look and your bouquet hiding your exquisite dress. The second way is by holding it to the side keeping the stems nearly parallel to the floor. This allows you to showcase both your dress and the bouquet.

Remember:
💐 Relaxation is key! Avoid gripping the bouquet too tightly.
💐 The bouquet should sit at your hip bone or belly button level, because holding it too high can hide your dress and look awkward in photos.
💐 Consider the bouquet style. Cascading bouquets (bouquets with flowers trailing down) are meant to be held lower, while round bouquets can be positioned in either way.
💐 Tilt the bouquet slightly forward so the flowers are the main focus, not the stems.
💐 Practice holding your bouquet in front of a mirror to find the most comfortable and flattering position.
