Falling but Not Failing🦒

The 2-meter drop that a Giraffe calf experiences at birth might seem risky, but it’s actually beneficial – it jump-starts the calf’s breathing and breaks the umbilical cord cleanly. The calf is up and about shortly after this rough welcome to the world.
