A big shout out to everyone involved in the hugely successful BARSA Aviation Summit 2023. Held at Century City Conference Centre, the summit brought together high-level policy makers, captains of industry, thought-leadership and key stakeholders from across aviation and tourism to create a clear path into the future of aviation and to celebrate the awakening of the airline industry. Summit delegates represented domestic and international airline operators, air transport regulatory authorities, airport operators, aviation service providers, aviation and tourism associations, tourism marketing agencies, government departments and agencies, and research institutions. A relaxed opening dinner was followed by intense and productive presentations and panels, attended by the brand new Minister of Tourism and Minister of Transport. The summit closed with a beautiful, fun (and funny, thanks to the hilarious Stuart Taylor Comedian) gala dinner. Registration and app were effortlessly handled by Flock Platform; a brand new website with dedicated summit page was whipped up by Apex Communications. As always every aspect of the technical magic was masterfully managed by Lua Pro and MGG. Beautiful decor supplied by Style Guru Event Decor and gifting by Unwrap. Official photos will follow, but in the meantime, here's the emotive opening video made in collaboration with ZD Imagined and Kabuki Productions.
And the lights are switched off, just as they were 5 months ago. That cold, dark feeling at the end of this teeny video clip...multiply that by a billion and you’ll know what we are feeling. #LightSARed Lightsared MGG Daniel Basch Delta Cafe & Don Quixote

King IV launch video
Happy 2017 y'all. It's going to be awesome! We've finally found a moment to post one of our fave videos from last year - the opening of the King IV launch for the IoDSA. The artist is John Adams. The exec from the IoDSA all got their hands dirty creating a magnificent piece of art - an enormous rubbing of a baobab, a symbolic representation of King IV. John spent hours carving the wood cut that would form the backing for the piece, and which is an artwork in itself. Enjoy. And, if you haven't yet, like our page would ya!
