Recently we were tasked to design a premium outdoor super-stand for our client Scania which could accommodate trucks, a coach chassis, a mining tipper, a networking space, service and solutions displays and a merchandise store at NAMPO, SA’s iconic one stop showcase of agricultural trends and developments. We were proud to create an exciting customer experience for a brand that is driving the shift to sustainable and innovative transport solutions.

Blue Moon was honoured to be invited to interview life-changing motivational speakers at the 5th annual Inclusive Africa Conference, for our client, Mastercard Foundation. Held in Nairobi, the conference focused on digital accessibility and assistive tech for persons with disabilities. From DJ Wiwa's electrifying tunes to thought-provoking panels, inclusivity was at the forefront of this awe-inspiring event. Amongst the speakers were people who have not only overcome debilitating challenges, but have achieved remarkable success in their lives.

Key messages echoed: "Nothing about us, without us." Challenges in employment and the urgent need for inclusive design were highlighted. Dr. Sylvia Moraa said it best: "You're doubted even before being given an opportunity." But with resilience and support, we can break these barriers.

The Inclusive Africa Conference 2024 was a beacon of hope, fostering a commitment to a more inclusive future. 🌍✨

Last week we gathered at Goddess Café to say cheers to a true goddess of production and client services, and wish her well on her way to blazing bright trails. Glitter on B! Then we cheersed our 3 power goddesses on completing another orbit around our sun. After a few Proseccos, we tucked into some of the best cake ever, lamenting, laughing and lavishing, as Blue Mooners love to do.

The branded media wall has increasingly been upstaged by creative and glamourous social media backdrops for guests to pose, post and pass onto to their social circles. At the launch of vivo’s V30 5G Series, Blue Moon transported guests to the “cutting-edge” of smartphone design, lighting, and camera technology with a spectacular runway show featuring The House of vivo_SA and munkus_ creations by Thando Nthuli, winner of SA Fashion Week 2023. Models were accessorised with the V30 smartphones and close-ups taken with the phone’s unique aura light were displayed on the big screens for the audience to behold.

Picture it… Cape Town’s majestic Table Mountain in the background, the captivating Miss South Africa in the foreground, and VIP guests delighting in every photo with vivo’s latest model, the V30 series 5G. Held at the Rooftop on Bree and hosted by Miss SA 2023, Natasha Joubert, it was another beautifully appointed launch event, curated by Blue Moon, with thanks to amazing support of Fogtech, Urban Tonic, Event Assist and Blue Indian.

Lighting it up on arrival!

As the sky turned from blue to orange, The Viewing Deck at Kyalami became the perfect backdrop for the launch of the vivo V30 series 5G, in a dazzling display of its cool to warm lighting camera feature. Over 500 guests enjoyed sundowners on the deck, serenaded by our electric violinist who ignited the night in her LED-lit bubble.​

OMI LEADERSHIP IMBIZO UPDATE
What could have been a day of intense strategic review, was transformed by one of Old Mutual Insure’s own leaders, who stepped up and dressed up (in the entire OMI colour palette) to assume the role of MC. The theme was “Finding our Rhythm” and our host got right in the groove! In addition to running our quiz shows, he had the audience dancing, racing, singing, clapping and chanting war cries throughout the day. Great job Hannes! Cheers Randall. And bravo OMI leaders who never shy away from “Challenge Accepted!”

What a joy and privilege it was to work on the Womenpreneur Her Perfect Pitch awards gala at Summer Place, not just as eventing partners for Access Bank and Jacaranda FM, but as heartfelt fans of this game-changing opportunity for talented female entrepreneurs.

The top 10 finalist journeys moved us to tears, producing a standing ovation for each inspiring business founder. The grand prize winner (Mo’s Crib) took home Access Bank financial funding, bumper Jacaranda FM airtime, education and support to grow her enterprise.
