MY STORY BEHIND CHRISTMAS BEETLES...

Christmas is around the corner and wanted to share a tradition of mine that I started with my children.

🎄 🎄 🎄 🎄 🎄 🎄 🎄 🎄 🎄 🎄 🎄 🎄 🎄 🎄

Why do we only see Christmas beetles near Christmas time?? Well, I told my little ones that the beetles are spies for Santa 😉 They watch children (and sometimes they are hidden from view too) and see who is being naughty or nice and then they report back to Santa.

Let me just say that my children become the world’s best behaved children when there is a Christmas beetle around 😉 Every now and again, when the kids wake up, there is a report card stuck in their door from the Christmas beetle and signed by Santa! Squeals of delight fill our house and warms my heart ❤️
