I'm super excited to announce that this year I'll be focusing on something a little different and unique: underwater portraiture!

This isn't entirely new to me—my incredible friend @ from has taught me so much. Thanks to her amazing guidance, I’m thrilled to now offer underwater portraits as part of my photo shoot options.

Monday - Started the week with a productive trip to Camerastuff, where I enhanced my photography kit with the Godox WEC 2 microphone system and a new Godox 120cm Octobox. These additions promise to elevate my audio and lighting game significantly. Check them out:

Tuesday - Spent the day diving into the world of pixels and frames, meticulously editing a batch of images. It’s always about refining those perfect shots.

Wednesday and Thursday - Had the privilege of attending the AI Expo at the Sandton Convention Center. I captured a series of compelling images and videos for a fantastic UK-based client, Mavin Global. Their innovative containerized data centres are truly cutting-edge. More about their work here.

Thursday Evening - Joined an inspiring networking session with Boss Babes, where I had the chance to capture the radiance and ambition of some truly incredible women through my lens.

Friday and Saturday Afternoon - Ended the week on a high note, guiding two groups on a memorable journey to experience the beauty of South Africa’s wildlife. Spending afternoons with the magnificent rhinos reminded me just how blessed we are to call this country home.

Quite the week, filled with creativity, innovation, and the natural splendor of South Africa!

This week, I’m hosting an off-road Motorsport Photography workshop that promises to be action-packed.

Friday Night: We'll kick off with a theory session via Zoom, delving into the techniques and tips essential for capturing dynamic motorsport shots.

Saturday: We hit the dirt in Bronkhorstspruit for a hands-on session, putting theory into practice by capturing the thrilling action of off-road motorsports.

For R700 per person, participants will receive not just the workshop experience but also a comprehensive workbook and a post-event editing session to refine their shots.

This is one of my favorite images of all time.

I just love the how the chess players are deeply focused on their game amidst the bustling surroundings creates a beautiful contrast. It feels like a moment of calm and concentration in the middle of a busy world. Long exposure really highlights the stillness of the players compared to the motion blur of the people around them.
