And… I’m back from another unforgettable 15-day adventure through Botswana — and what a trip it was!

We began with an overnight stay on the Nwetwe Pan — a truly surreal experience under a blanket of stars and well the mostly full moon. From there, we ventured out on a mokoro trip, where this image was captured — nothing beats cooling off in the Okavango Delta!

Next, we made our way to Moremi, where we were treated to some of the most breathtaking elephant sightings I’ve ever experienced. After that, it was back to Khwai — a place I had the privilege of spending nearly three weeks at just two months ago. It was incredible to see how the changing water levels have transformed the landscape.

Then came Savuti — while the roads are challenging, the scenery is absolutely mesmerizing. And to round off the journey, we ended with a peaceful boat cruise along the Chobe River.

I simply cannot wait to share the incredible images and footage from this adventure with you all!

The Distinguished Gentleman’s Drive is happening this Sunday, and I absolutely cannot wait to capture the stunning classic cars and dapper outfits that make this such a unique occasion. 🚘🎩

For those who don’t know, the Drive is a worldwide celebration of style and motoring heritage, where enthusiasts take to the roads in pre-1980 classic cars, all while raising awareness and funds for men’s health.

Will I be seeing you there?

Here’s a little taste of the magic from last year’s event to get you excited…

🌍🦏 Today is World Rhino Day 🦏🌍

Did you know that White Rhinos have one of the longest pregnancies in the animal kingdom—lasting 15 to 18 months? When their calves are born, they already weigh between 40–65kgs, and these little ones stay by their mother’s side for two years or more.

Their iconic horn is made of keratin—the very same protein found in our hair and nails. And yet, despite the incredible progress humanity has made in 2025, these majestic animals are still being poached. So far this year, 195 rhinos have been killed—that’s almost one a day.

💔 How do we stop this?

Today, we not only raise awareness but also extend a massive thank you to the dedicated people working tirelessly to protect these gentle giants. You are the true heroes keeping hope alive for future generations.

🦏✨ These are three of my favorite rhino images, each with a story close to my heart.

1 – Sharing my passion across generations is something I’ll always treasure. Watching Luna share a tender moment with my 90-year-old grandmother was one of the most incredible sights I’ve ever witnessed.

2 – The same Luna, just 9 hours old. To see and capture a rhino so young is an experience I will forever hold close to my heart.

3 – This image marked a turning point in my career, winning the Wilderness Safaris – Conserving Africa’s Wildlife photographic category in 2019. It gave the Sidekick and me the unforgettable opportunity to spend time at Victoria Falls.

Let's see your favorite Rhino images.

Last night I had the incredible opportunity to speak at the IPIP Photographic Club in Fairlands—and wow, what a night!
It was such a joy to share my journey and connect with fellow creatives who are just as passionate about storytelling through the lens.

My talk focused on how years of shooting professional motorsport have shaped the way I approach wildlife photography. While the subjects may be wildly different, the skills I developed trackside—anticipating movement, working under pressure, and chasing emotion—have become powerful tools in the wild.

I shared five practical tips that bridge the gap between speed and stillness:

1️⃣ Train your reflexes – Be ready before the moment happens.
2️⃣ Nail it first time – Trust your instincts and shoot with intent.
3️⃣ Tell the story – Go beyond the subject—capture the emotion.
4️⃣ Embrace imperfection – Some of the best shots come from chaos.
5️⃣ Chase your vision – Don’t be afraid to shoot differently.

While I’m bursting to share the jaw-dropping sightings from the Okavango Delta… you’ll have to wait just a little longer. 😉

In the meantime, something thrilling is racing your way: The Festival of Motoring is just around the corner, and I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll be hosting a Motorsport Photography Workshop on 30 August—right in the heart of the action.

Whether you're a budding motorsport photographer or just want to sharpen your skills in a high-adrenaline setting, this workshop is designed to deliver:

🏁 R1,000 per person (excludes event entry) 🎓 Includes an online theory session to prep you with the essentials 📸 Followed by hands-on guidance on the day.

Expect roaring engines, dramatic angles, and the kind of mentorship that helps you capture speed, emotion, and story in every frame.

Spots are limited, and this is your chance to learn, shoot, and connect with fellow creatives in one of the most electrifying environments around.

👉 Secure your spot now—DM me or email to book. Let’s make some motorsport magic!
