On a beautiful afternoon in May, Josie and Stephen said "I do" in front of 220 family and friends, on Josie's parents exquisite dairy farm outside Kenton-on-Sea. The working farm workshop was transformed into a spectacular reception venue - quite an amazing transformation as it usually houses tractors, parts of tractors, many tools and farm equipment! While Norman (Josie's father) tackled the workshop, Sandy (Josie's Mum) took on the vast garden and an immense amount of sewing covers for bales, making quilts and even running up a last minute garter - my jaw is still on the ground in awe! The wonderful thing about farm weddings is how many special people are happy to lend a hand - from making milk tarts and placing them in individual "take-away bottles", to setting tables, helping with flowers and the list goes on...makes for such a wonderful interactive day for the wedding planner! So, I wanted to share this special day with you and thank everyone who helped me make it a day to remember for Josie and Stephen. It was such a privilege to be part of the team. Wishing you both many happy, fun and loving years together.
