Karoo Adventures & Wagon Wheel 4x4

Karoo Adventures offers 4x4 trails for every type of off-road vehicle, quads and mountainbikes - from a casual drive in the mountains, to more challenging adventures! Karoo Adventures Wagon Wheel 4x4, quad and mountainbike trail is situated only 40 km from Montagu on the R318, on the farm Koenieskraal. We have various routes, ranging from less-challenging, to very difficult (1-5). Our other route

is the Winter Trek Route on the farm Zoutrivier, about 16 km from the Wagon Wheel Trail. Our accommodation includes basic campsites and a comfortable chalet. An easy access road from the beginning of the trail makes it possible for visitors to enter and drive directly to the campsites and chalet, and they are accessible by any vehicle. Koenieskraal has been in the Le Roux family for four generations and is also the setting for most of the Wagon Wheel 4x4 Trail. From time to time, Danie, the owner, will have his sheep grazing on this farm, and for the rest of the time it will be inhabited by leopards and caracals. Zoutrivier is used part of the year for grazing and also for planting of crops. Come and visit us at Karoo Adventures and experience clean air, beautiful sunsets and star-filled skies.
