My late grandma used to make this jar with a variety of ingredients, and today it’s avocado—something I learned from my mom, who learned it from her. This recipe holds a special place in my heart.

Pickled Avocado Slices recipe 🥑✨

Ingredients:
- 2 ripe avocados, sliced
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
- Fresh cilantro leaves (optional)

Instructions:

1. Prepare the brine:
- In a small saucepan, combine water, vinegar, lime juice, sugar, salt, garlic, and chili flakes. Bring to a gentle simmer until sugar dissolves. Let it cool completely.

2. Arrange the avocado slices:
- Place avocado slices into a clean mason jar, layering with cilantro leaves if desired.

3. Pour the brine:
- Pour the cooled brine over the avocados, ensuring they’re fully submerged.

4. Seal and refrigerate:
- Close the jar tightly and refrigerate for at least 2 hours,
