At the natural plaster and carving workshop this weekend you will create your own plastered board that you can design and carve as well as learning the real deal on how to mix plaster and apply it to your wall. Playing with a variety of oxides to apply layers of colour you can really have fun and get creative.

The lovely owl house.

This is a tiny romanic cabin in the mountain under the bluegum forest.
Just a small walk gives you a private garden and fire pit with a view, a cozy cabin with king sized bed and a private green house bathroom. Solar power and fire heated geyser this cottage is off the grid and self sustainable.
With all the little conforts you need this is the perfect hide away.

Building with what nature provides is such a gift and blessing. Our cordwood little house coming along nicely.

A real labour of love, being gentle with mother earth and working with the elements around us. Gentle foot print in respect to nature.

Here we are using cob mix with clay, lime, straw and pine logs.

We will plaster with clay and straw and then a lime finish in wet areas.

These walls are hand crafted and will be treated and sealed once complete and dry.

The areas where we want to show the logs, we will sand them and either leave them naked or colour them in with natural earth oxides.

The paints will be made by myself once I figure out the best recipe for my goal.

So much love and fun goes into a natural build.

This home will have a combination of sand bag, cordwood, cob, wood and rammed earth methods.
