Spicy Pickled Garlic
Just a tip steam in a plastic bag for 5 to 8min just to keep coulor
Ingredients:
- 1 cup peeled garlic cloves
- 1 cup white vinegar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon black peppercorns
- 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 2 dried chili peppers, whole
-125ml sugar
Instructions:
1. In a saucepan, combine vinegar, water, salt, and sugar. Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar and salt dissolve completely.
2. Add garlic cloves to the saucepan and return to a boil. Remove from heat immediately.
3. Stir in crushed red pepper flakes, black peppercorns, mustard seeds, and dried chili peppers.
4. Transfer garlic and spices into sterilized jars, pouring hot vinegar mixture over to cover completely.
5. Seal jars tightly and let them cool to room temperature.
6. Store jars in a cool, dark place for at least 2 weeks to allow flavors to develop fully before eat
