About Us: Accolades Boutique Venue is a renowned, elegant venue in Midrand, specializing in hosting unforgettable weddings and events. We pride ourselves on creating magical experiences for our clients, combining attention to detail, creativity, and top-notch service. We are seeking a dynamic Wedding Coordinator & DΓ©cor Operations Manager to join our team and help elevate our offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

1.⁠ ⁠Wedding Coordination:

Manage all aspects of wedding planning and coordination, from sales handover to the big day.

Liaise with clients to understand their vision, needs, and expectations.

Coordinate with vendors (caterers, florists, photographers, etc.) to ensure smooth ex*****on of events.

Provide on-site support during weddings and events to ensure everything runs seamlessly.

Maintain a high level of client satisfaction by providing personalized service and attention to detail.

2.⁠ ⁠Décor Operations:

Oversee the stock control, allocation, setup and management of all venue dΓ©cor elements.

Work closely with clients to bring their dΓ©cor vision to life, within budget and time constraints.

Manage a team responsible for dΓ©cor setup and breakdown before and after events.

Ensure all dΓ©cor inventory is well-maintained, organized, and ready for use.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a wedding coordinator and/or in dΓ©cor operations, preferably within a boutique or high-end event setting.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple weddings/events simultaneously.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and vendors.

Creative flair with an eye for detail and design.

Ability to work under pressure, with flexibility in working hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Strong leadership skills to manage a dΓ©cor team effectively.

The History of Accolades

Accolades Boutique Venue originally started as a bed and breakfast, and was pushed to open for the 2010 world cup. After its successful opening in 2010, there was a lot of request for functions and weddings, after which we hosted our first wedding in December of 2010. Accolades continues to grow in size, ambition and love, through the grace of God.

We are a family orientated company, and we strive to ensure love, encouragement and growth to our fellow staff members and to our clients. We have a passion for this beautiful country we live in and love meeting new people and business on a daily basis.
