Still looking for a sure-fire way to spoil your mom this Mother’s Day? Beatrix Events and Ganico Organic Estate are hosting three stylish dining experiences and a Farmer’s Market at the popular boutique farm in Muldersdrift.

Their Vineyard Luncheon will serve up a three-course feast which should tick the boxes for those after a more formal affair, while the Deli Cafe offers an indulgent lunch with a casual vibe.

And if you want to keep it cosy and private, a picnic experience is also on offer with a well-packed basket including sweet and savoury treats. Event planner Beatrix Lourens and her team have made your picnic fuss-free by setting the scene with all the trimmings. Picnic blankets, cushions, and some styling to add an extra special touch are all included in the offer. All you need to do is show up!

The atmosphere at Ganico Organic Estate is tranquil, rustic, and romantic, so dust off your best pastels and neutrals for some memorable and Insta-worthy snaps. Professional photographers will also be on hand to capture your special moments.

Don’t leave without stopping past the Farmer’s Market where you can stock up on organic fruits, goodies, as well as a fresh flower stall to spoil mom on the spot. Live tunes will set the mood, while kids will be entertained with the fun activities on offer.

Do take something warm or a raincoat in case it rains, and shoes for walking outside on the farm.

We've designed a box that transports you to a seaside setting where most people, reFRESH, reTHINK, reFOCUS! A box filled with ingredients to a positive outlook: a yoga mat, ice towel & team T-shirt, Earl Grey tea in maybe just the cutest holder and vision board kit are some of the tools received by each delegate!

I also share the beautiful box put together for the delegate based in Switzerland and the last picture is the delegate with the most impressive box display. A bit of an unfair advantage since she is based at the coast😉!

GOLD RUSH

On Wednesday evening, Beatrix Events, planned the virtual farewell of Gold Fields CEO, Mr Nick Holland. An evening testament of a formidable career and incredible individual.

I am so proud that we pulled this together in less than a week and in 6 other countries. Thank you to all my helping hands abroad, you have been incredible and have put beauties together that dripped luxury and style! And then my local team, so much love!!

GRATITUDE SHOULD BE OUR ATTITUDE

Woke up this morning to a laugh or should I say, a looooooooooooooooove!! Thanks to my wonderful friend, Sarah at who reminded me ...wowzer, laughter is really the best medicine to COVID or any crappy situation.

So here are some fun facts about my Covid venture... 'Event in a Box':... my dad, brothers and most probably my husband will cringe at my geography mishaps, I blame it on being blonde 🤣🤪

1) there are 2 Chatsworth areas in SA. Who knew??.... I travelled a cake and bag of soup in 1 day from Cape Town to Durbs - epic fail
🙏
2) I had to Google Tarkastad...
🙏
3) Uber is cool to transport a box for 200 km and whoop, there is something like Bolt, they love dirt roads.
🙏
4) I had wet, damp and damaged, but by God's grace, were always able to save the day with a fresh beautiful box... had 1 box that literally looked like a murder scene (not themed)

5) Had boxes in Windhoek, Lusaka, Dubai, Utah, Miami and Switzerland and touch wood, this also happened and had my stamp of approval!

6) My recent fail that we could save🤣🤣🤣

7) My support network... I don't nearly say it enough!!!! THANK YOU, IN BIG BOLD PINK LETTERS... my parents have been driving around for wood wool and 14 recipe books and way more, hubby dried tears and gosh there were loads, best friend pushed me to start my idea and continue and each supplier, damn gals... all have been so remarkable, creative, humble and a support of note! We have something beautiful going here that keep people happy, engaged, fulfilled and grateful in this stupid and uncertain time.
