Africa, my Continent,

Africa, the home of peacefulness.

Africa, I heard you are now bright.
Africa, I heard you are now free.
In the fall, the war was there,
People did not go to you anymore.

Our people were slaves and killed.
Our fights are our dreams and representations.
Our thinking is our ideas and changes.
Our crying is our pain and struggles.

We saw that there was the used to be war.
We saw that people were not treated equally.
We saw that apartheid was taken part.

In the beginning, they lived under apartheid.
But now, our hands have risen up and we celebrate.
Everyone feels like it is a new life to us.
There is no more hurt or hatred.
