With loadshedding forcing people to rely more on take outs and emptying freezers full of spoiled foods, it's time to do things the way grandma did.... Storing foods without relying on the freezer. If you don't have a pressure canner, use the water bath method as the old folks did... Even meat can be stored in pork fat ..flavour is preserved and meat is still juicy and tender.
