"Had a wonderful time exploring the beautiful, family-owned Cellar1848 on Route62 and just 5mins outside Montagu. I stayed in a newly renovated and modern 2 bedroom apartment Mimosa Lodge. Tying the knot?? The venue has a historic vintage cellar that can accommodate up to 120 wedding guests, an expansive lawn area and breathtaking mountainous views. We were taken on an amazing cullinary journey by www.leeftijd.co.za (in-house catering service). Such a treat 🤌🏽!! The Champion wine cellar of the region, Montagu Wines, gave us a taste of their wine selection. My favourite was the Lady Mary Montagu Sauvignon Blanc. It has a perfectly balanced minerality, aromas of freshly cut grass and quite easy drinking. The decor was top tier and really breathed new life into the 200year old cellar! @flamboijant & @booicreative did such a great job - wow! Thank you @hotovenmarketing for planning this amazing escape and to all the sponsors involved for making this trip so memorable!"
