Did you know the story of Cellar 1848 begins with the incredible Jourdan family legacy dating back to the 1600s? Jean Jourdan, a Huguenot, arrived in the Cape in 1688 at just 28 years old. Fast forward six generations, and our family still calls this beautiful farm home! 🏡

Nestled in the stunning Agter Cogmans Kloof valley, our farm has been crafting memories and cultivating vineyards for almost 200 years. 🥂
