WELCOME TO LEEFTIJD CATERING! 🫒🥖
When our founder, Belia, started the company in December 2018 she decided to trade under her own name as Belia King Catering. On June 4th 2022, however, her father suddenly passed away and it made her think about the company name and how she wanted to use what she's created to honour her dad. She renamed her company to celebrate the lifetime of memories she’d made around the table with her family and friends.

Leeftijd Catering's founder, Belia, tells the tale of how Leeftijd came to be.

She named her company to celebrate the lifetime of memories she’d made around the table with her family and friends. Previously called Belia King Catering, her sought-after team has been creating gorgeous culinary backdrops for countless weddings, parties, corporate functions, and private events in and around the Western Cape since 2018.

Belia has always been an enthusiastic foodie with a sincere love and appreciation of fresh, seasonal produce, and the joy of bringing people together over a beautifully prepared meal. Forever smelling of lemon, garlic, and fresh herbs harvested from her tiny garden, she taught herself the intricacies of making magic in the kitchen, until she had the wonderful opportunity to follow her dreams and study at Silwood School of Cookery.

by Mooi Troues of Dewald and Janecke's wedding that we had the absolute pleasure of catering for!

Met baie opgewondenheid deel ons Dewald en Janecke se troue in die Elgin Vallei met Mooi Troues se lesers. Hulle trou seremonie, onthaal en verblyf was by die pragtige Cherry Glamping in die Elgin Vallei. Janecke, die bruid het beeldskoon gelyk op haar troudag. Om haar voorkoms af te eindig het sy die mooiste oorbelle aangehad van Hellohaai wat haar grimering, hare en trourok só mooi gekomplimenteer het.

Na die seremonie wat tussen die pragtigste bome het gaste heerlike vingerhappies geniet wat voorberei was deur Leeftijd Catering. Gaste het ook die heerlikste aandete geniet wat Leeftijd Catering gemaak het. Spyseniering by ŉ troue is só belangrik, want kos is iets wat almal altyd onthou.

Ons is baie opgewonde om Jacques en Elke se pragtige buitelug troue in ŉ mooi tuin met jou te deel.

Die paartjie wou iets heeltemal uniek doen en hul trou dekor was só mooi gewees. Met rottang lig skerms wat tussen groenigheid onder die opelug hang is so mooi. Die gebruik van warmer aarde kleur skakerings in die buitelug skep ŉ fantastiese kontras. Proteas, Pampasgras en ander fyn blomme staan uit op die donker rou hout tafels. Daar is net iets ekstra spesiaal aan ŉ buitelug onthaal met goeie beligting en kerse vir ŉ romantiese atmosfeer.

Die talentvolle, het die bruid se grimering en hare gedoen. Ons hou van die natuurlike gevoel van Elke se grimering en is gaande oor haar hare wat so mooi los is.

REPOST BY @novaretreats_sa NOVA CORE WELLNESS WEEKEND DAY 2! 🩵 Day 2 started with a warm cup of coffee under the lapa while admiring the views of the mountains and dam. Once we were caffeinated and ready to go, we headed to the studio for a killer barre class with Marise. With jelly legs and glutes on fire, we headed down to the lapa for a delicious and nutritious breakfast - and more coffee! 😏 After a bit of rest, we headed back to the studio for the skin workshop with @skincreamery 🧘‍♀️ After the workshop minds were blown and shopping carts were full, it’s safe to say, we’re all even more invested into our skincare regime.🧖‍♀️ We then headed to lunch and enjoyed the most delicious Buddha bowls. With belly’s full, it was time to hit the bar for the gin experience with @sixdogsdistillery 🍹 The evening started with a stretch class with Nicola where we incorporated the @higherselflivingjournal and practiced mindfulness and reflection. We then headed to the dining hall for a delicious dinner and ended the night watching the rugby, drinking good wine and having great conversations!
