Not every birthday begins on one continent and ends beneath African skies…

& Dan's multi-day birthday celebration was nothing short of extraordinary. Guests arrived from London to South Africa, greeted with bespoke safari baskets curated with every thoughtful detail for the days ahead. Their journey continued in private luxury — a scenic drive with packed gourmet lunches, setting the tone for what was to come.

Big 5 game drives, breathtaking sunsets, and a candlelit African-inspired dinner under the stars made their first days at Thanda unforgettable.

After days in the bush, the celebration then shifted to the coast. The stunning Sala Luxury Boutique Hotel guaranteed a cocktail soirée to remember — margaritas in hand, music flowing, and friends dressed to impress (and party!) once again. A moment of mention for every guest who worked every theme, every moment, every outfit — perfectly on point.
