Congratulations to Dr Busch and his Rygersdal Football Club u16 team who won the HPL u16 tournament last weekend. As one of the leading figures in player development over the last 30 years, Dr Busch has again proven himself in assembling a talent laden squad. Rygersdal’s u16s beat all the big names of Cape Town City FC, Ubuntu Football and Stellenbosch Football Club on the way to winning the tournament. This is a true testament of the hard work of Dr Busch and the coaching staff, who are rebuilding the development structure after Old Mutual Limited withdrew their sponsorship after 20 years. We are proud to be associated with Dr Busch and his new development structure, and look forward to rebuilding South Africa’s top football academy. Well done to all involved.

Eric Tinkler post match comments: Mo, I thought fantastic. Absolutely fantastic, held the ball up very very nicely. Created one or two little chances for himself and created one or two chances for others.

While of average size, Ayo possesses an undoubted gift to operate up and down either flank (left side preferably) with great aplomb as he’s blessed with a fantastic engine and the ability to strike/cross with either foot.

Having left his native Nigeria in 2004, Ayo was recruited by (SA’s famed youth scout) and groomed by Jomo where he would graduate to the senior side and eventually star in the PSL.
