The Mandela Bay Development Agency recently inducted 200+ general waste collection workers to clean up the precincts of Kariega, Gqeberha and the NMB Stadium precinct as a top us service to Metro initiatives.

All the staff members were taken through financial literacy and astuteness training. We believe in providing sustainable opportunities that allow for personal and financial independence.

The NMB Stadium had the pleasure of hosting CAF President, Dr. Patrice Motsepe at the conclusion of the COSAFA Cup final between Anga 🇦🇴 vs. Namibia 🇳🇦.

Also present at stadium was honorable Deputy Minister of Sports, Arts, Culture and Recreation, Hon. Ms. Peace Mabe, Executive Mayor of the Nelson Mandela Bay Metro, Cllr. Gary Van Niekerk, along with the Mandela Bay Development Agency (MBDA) Chairperson, Glenda Perumal and Acting Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium Manager, Mr. Raaziq Poole.

The tournament was executed successfully, bringing an end to another great instalment of the 2024 COSAFA Cup proudly hosted at the Friendly City of Gqeberha at the iconic Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.
