We are thrilled to have the incredible Ethan Dunk join the cast this evening! ✨️

Ethan will be stepping in for Edó Mostert, taking on the iconic role of Edna – get ready for a show-stopping performance! 💃🎭

Ethan Dunk is currently a graduating 4th year musical theatre student at the Waterfront Theatre School. He has featured in many roles over his four years of study, some of which include: Bill Sweeney in the South African premier of Heathers, Ike Skidmore in Oklahoma! And King Charlemagne in Pippin. He also wrote lyrics and performed as Aaron in Bedlam the Musical.

He looks forward to graduating at the end of this year and joining the industry.

You might have seen him on Wat Dit Vat or Die Kontrak, showing off his vocal chops and repping the plus-size and LGBTQIA+ communities. We celebrate the legacy of Mr Frank Charles Pietersen, the beloved founder and brilliant visionary of the then Paarl Schools Music Centre, that was renamed Frank Pietersen Music Centre, in October 1991.

Our growth and talented learners are the realisation of his wildest dream. How magnificent that it is as alive as ever. 🎶✨️

You are tenderly remembered, Mr Pietersen, and we will continue to carry your dream out into the world. 🤍
