The One.
The one economy foundation steer headed by the formidable Monica Geingos and her tribe of amazing colleagues who give back to the youth and those in need of assistance. This year the foundation hosted its 9th Soiree and how privilege we are to have been able to assist making this event memorable and to add gravitas to the theme: SHAPE- MOULDING THE FUTURE HAND IN HAND.
The Franseman Events & Atelier was tasked to create a concept, theme and feel for the event by making the concept come alive through the visuals and the design of the event. As we believe in Immersive storytelling and design this spectacular 9th showcase truly spoke about the amazing work and the character of the one economy foundation and the work it does in Namibia.
The event was created through the concept of moulding clay, shaping it to become something useful, to delight, to bring change and to be something of utter beauty. From the arrival where we designed a sculptural “mess” to tickle the guest mind to the beautiful knotted design on the stage the concept stayed true to the concept of shaping and moulding.
The venue was set with tables and chairs covered with rich velvet in stone, chocolate, ginger and ocher which brought a luxury feel, brown and white chair covers set in flowy pockets around the table brought a design cue to the venue while the centerpieces made of woven raffia, fresh green rhino grass in a setting of golden orange pincushion proteas and protea hookerania between the use of preserved hydrangeas in rich cream made for a delicate setting and finished off with dark Chinese brown and subtle toffee dinner candles for ambience
The stage was a delight and focal of the venue and done with a beautiful robust free flow installation of flowers, pokers and terracotta pots to add to the theme of the evening.

We enjoyed performances by and speeches to the delight of the guest.
This would off course not go so smoothly if not for the amazing service providers who assisted making this such a special event. ConSoAV thank you for the beautiful ambience, the stage design was perfect as per our discussions and the sound was sublime. To Mercure Hotel Windhoek thank you for your unwavering support to the one economy. The three-course dinner was delicious.
Thank you Eddie for the skilled and friendly waiter service. This would off course not be possible if not for the wonderful eye of Nessie of Oye Creative Studio who captured these beautiful moments in the venue.
Thank you Brockerhoff for your talent and beautiful play on the theme. t Hotpocket Band and the due of the Difference band thank you for making the musical interludes beautiful and a stunning evening to enjoy.
Then what will an event be if not for the talented Laimi Elago and Neville Basson who steered the event with fun, comedy and Namibian poise.

THE MAGIC OF MAREIKE & HENNING
There is undoubtedly something ethereal when love is visible in just about everything at a wedding. As a event organiser it is our job to make thing goes effortlessly ,smooth, well run and perfect. A difficult word to use under any circumstances but if your team and fellow service providers are amazing at their craft and passion seeps from that you know the event will be extraordinary special .
Mareike wanted a subtle glamour driven wedding filled with little moments through out the day and the venue at Vallee Vineyards has that something truly special to offer their brides. It has a touch of Tuscany and a nod to the french country side all hidden in one amazing venue. The lovely photos are taken by the amazing Jessy of Jessie du Bruyn photography. The look and feel designed by Franseman Events & Atelier and flowers by the talented team of Franseman in Paarl. The amazing food created by the talented and furniture by Goeters. Can not wait to see the final video of this lovely day in Wellington .

Ginger, gold and the riches of pale apricots and alluring Marsala.

When describing the work I do when organizing a wedding, it actually a statement of what I do not do….. just about everything.

The trust a couple have in its planner comes down to the believe and the getting on and also “does he/she know what they talking about ….”

Looking back at a wedding I did in April at the beautiful Hazendal venue I truly feel I do stand up against the best in the trade and I am not at all feeling diminutive in the wedding trade but I have a “classy my kind of taste” which I portray through the design process I follow.

To design and create bespoke one-of-a-kind events seems easy but the trust of a team of event specialists is key and this is always visible on how a team work and gets the job done…. It needs to be a passiondriven and not merely for the amount of money received.

This event was truly memorable because of many factors but in the end, it was the service providers we chose to work with that made all the difference.
From the amazing venue Hazendal Wine Estate, the spectacular glass house for the intimate ceremony to the drinks and canapes on the lawn in front of the old homestead and the spectacular reception in the glass fronted car show room which made for quite a sight.

The venue would have been nothing if not for design and event setting of the Franseman team or the bespoke furniture of Goeters the lighting of In And Out Events Hire who made the event smoldering and created the desired dramatic feel candles by Candles 4U or the magical transformative decor by Functions and Events PTY Ltd

The lighting and sound by the team of Hennie Ellis and Cape DJs - The Sound Choice for the stellar mood they created and captured the guest in party mode the whole evening long.
I also need to mention the performers of the evening and Jamie Faull and Robin Cathleen Botha that was just on another level and loved the vibe they created.

Creating these events take organizational skill but above all it takes a certain type of TRUST between individuals that the ex*****on will always be placed first above personal preference or want to do but rather making sure the needs of the clients are placed above all.

Moments like these make me love my God-Intended-Profession but also make me understand why create bespoke events and not copy and pasting ideas from Pinterest.

What an amaxing privledge for the Tamonika Events to design and create this momentus occasion welcoming to 🇳🇦 Namibia and treat her to the flair and Glamour of this amaxing county of possibilities.

The beautiful dramatic wedding look and feel of Daniél and Helaine was just mesmerizing beautiful. A monochromatic colourscheme of black with inserts of refreshing whites made for a true statement wedding in the textural and enchanting Anura Vineyards in Klapmutz , Western Cape.

What was suppose to be a sunny Western Cape day with wind in the afternoon quickly began to change in a a rainy and wind gushing day. With dramatic shades of blues and grays in the horizon it truly made for a glorious cool day in the vineyards

The ceremony was held on a green lawn overlooking the Stellenbosch mountains and close by vineyards. The black chairs around the round flower installation made for a minimalist feel and had a majestic feel to the quint and romantic service lead ny the pastor.

After the ceremony guest was invited into the lobby of the venue where Anura Wines served delectable wines and Kos Kouture made the taste buds smile with delicious mouth watering morsels of delight .

The venue was a true depiction of glam and classical design cues with a radiant black and white colourscheme and pulling inspiration from the 1920 inspired glam with touches of glass and gold making the venue smoulder with drama and wow.

The lovely wedding cake was created by the talented M Patisserie and it truly made a statement centerpiece in the venue.
The Tablecloth Hiring Company provided us with brand new black velvet and black raw linen table cloths and the matching black linen napkins we did a intricate knot design to finish the look on the charger plates.
All the stationary was designed and printed by Franseman Atelier and the subtle watermark of Helaine & Daniél was just perfect and so romantic.

The flowers which included white hydrangeas, white ohara roses and white philanopsis orchids between heads of tropical Anthiriums made for rich and lush flower feel especially in the hanging installations behind the bridal table.

The dance floor which we opt to do a full gloss black dance floor with a bespoke dance floor vynal pulled the venue together and made it truly special.

Furniture and lighting was sourced from the friendly team Goeters and we love working with this vibrant team on our events. The party was a high lite and just loving the professional set up by DJ Brent . He truly love the art of music and his song selections were spot on.

Thank you to the team of Franseman for their assistance making this magical wedding with the most beautiful bride and charming Groom such a wonderful memory to look back on.

For as long as I can remember the impact of the One Economy Foundation has been just in one word “mesmerizing” . Through the leadership and vision of Monica Geingos the first lady of the Namibia you come to expect nothing less.

A foundation on setting standards and a believe that change is possible through determination and passion for a country, their people and community in need.

This year Tamonika Events /Franseman Atelier was asked to conceptualize and create a dynamic event to further in the work and vision foe the foundation.

A wonderful night of glamour with a cause was created at Safari Hotels Conference center where an evening of pure delight was created and the generosity of the crowed was pulpable in their donations to the cause.

We created a bespoke feel and décor look to enhance the setting of the evening and use the traditional ovahimba braided basket as the focal component of the table center pieces and the colour teal, saxon blue and ghost green as these colors personify freedom and will, positivity and movement.

The use of tropical anthurium, green orchids and sun streak pincushion proteas made for an interesting display of blooms in the baskets and the “we are one” vinyl prints set a “glass” feature on the frames created the perfect look to finish off this corporate event.

The Sound,lighting and audiovisual were handled by ConSoAV which created the perfect feel for the event and sound for the artists of the event. With great wisdom comes great power and the First ladies key note personified her willingness to make the One economy foundation a beacon and a pillar of hope for many young Namibians willing to embitter them selves through their education and becoming the future beacons of our beloved Namibia.

The three-course meal by the capable hands of the Safari Court Hotel and Conference Centre Team was served with poise and was wonderful getting the “event” kick post covid.
