When the setting already has a strong identity, we don’t want to design over it. We want to design with it.

For this horse farm ceremony, we kept the rawness of the space and made the hay part of the design rather than trying to hide it. Soft neutral fabric, loose white and green florals and natural textures elevated the setting while still allowing it to feel completely at home on the farm.

Who says a wedding needs a traditional venue?

For this episode of our series, we’re taking the reception somewhere a little unexpected: straight into the canola fields.

Imagine one long table surrounded by endless yellow, soft ivory linens, candlelight and an intentionally simple tablescape that allows the landscape to do most of the talking.

When the setting already gives you this much, you don’t need to compete with it. The beauty is in knowing what to add, what to leave untouched, and how to turn an open field into a space that still feels considered, elevated and worthy of a celebration.

Sometimes the most memorable wedding venues aren’t venues at all. 🌼

There is something incredibly romantic about taking a space that was never created specifically for weddings and imagining what it could become.

A horse farm brings a completely different character to a celebration. The stables, paddocks, open fields and horses become part of the setting, giving you layers and moments that a more traditional venue simply cannot replicate.

We love the idea of looking beyond the expected. The Winelands may be known for beautiful w**e estates, but sometimes choosing somewhere a little less conventional gives you the opportunity to create something that feels entirely your own.

A reminder that the perfect wedding venue might not look like a wedding venue at first. It might just need the right vision.
