Our Story

From a very young age brides and princess dresses have been part of our everyday lives. Back in the day you would find one lady that was responsible for everything at the wedding: the flowers, the cake, the catering, even the wedding dress. Our Mom was one of those ladies. This was the start of our love affair with weddings and all things pretty.

Sophia’s is situated in Parys. We specialize in floral artistry and design and décor consulting, sourcing and styling. We have 18 years’ experience in the wedding industry. Our floral style is characterized by the use of a variety of flowers, floral layers and textures to ensure that your designs are a feast for all the senses. The designs should invite guests and yourself to smell and touch the blooms and be transported into another world. We believe in honesty and the use of quality products and produce and strive to provide the best advice and guidance to our couples.

When I first saw way back in 2021 while under construction,
I knew I had to return. Thank you, Bonnie, for your warm and friendly welcome and assistance. We cannot wait to return and create some magic for all the lovely couples who celebrate their wedding in Rosendal.
