We decided to have our own celebrations for the weddings that would have been during this time by having camp out at the venue. What a night it was! Can’t wait to have bridal couples and their guests!

A sunny Thursday morning the 21st of January 2016, my then boyfriend told me to get ready that we are going on a date. (Photo below)

When we arrived in the veld he took me to this beautiful spot under a magnificent yellow wood tree, started a fire and cooked us breakfast. While sitting there the idea of getting married there was born. Since that day, this spot has been special.

Two years later he proposed in the same spot and a year later we got married there.

Geelhoutkloof wedding venue was born from a dream to create this fairytale for more couples!
